BEST CHOICE KITCHEN
Kitchen notes: a workspace that works
A well-organized kitchen makes it easier to start cooking and easier to finish cleaning.
Keep everyday tools close
Store your most-used spatula, spoon, and measuring tools near the preparation area. Put occasional-use items farther away so they do not crowd the worktop.
Create a clear preparation zone
Keep one section of worktop available for a cutting board and ingredients. Gather what you need before cooking, and return containers to storage as you finish using them.
Review what is already in the pantry
Before shopping, check grains, canned ingredients, and freezer portions. Plan a meal around something you already have. Label opened containers so that their contents and storage instructions are easy to identify.
Try a weekly reset
Wipe shelves, sort utensils, and check that frequently used equipment is clean and ready. A short, regular reset is easier to maintain than a large occasional reorganization.
